QBert, in the red, displaying a little gang signage for street cred, threw an amazing show recently in Dallas...for free. Yeah, I said free. Even if you are not into DJs - go see him anyway. He used only one phonograph turntable and it was the most incredible thing I’ve seen!

Props always make for better parties.

I obviously missed out on Megan and Shawn's clash of milinery. And, I missed out on what ever attacked Shawn and Robert's face. (But, I'm almost certain that it came out of Shawn's pants though. Run Robert, run!) Why...because I was asleep, not passed out, just asleep.

Lesson learned: If you need to take a sieste at a party, especially a party with props, find a closet.

Nerd infestation, maybe, but we... (top left, Megan on right and me with my signature beverage in hand, on the left) had an amazingly fun time.

QuakeCon is an annual event here in Dallas hosted by id software, where gamers can spend 96 hours, hopped

up on Bawls, playing each other for $150,000 in prizes. The reality of it is a lot less creepy than it sounds. I highly suggest you make the pilgrimage in 2006, especially if you are into games even a little. We are priming Megan to compete for Ms.QuakeCon next year...she's definitely got the swimwear competition in the bag, but what to do for the talent portion???
